Yay! I did it! They are kinda wonky, aren't really sell-able but they will work perfectly for the shoot. It was really hard to sew them on the machine. I could have done it by hand but it would have taken me forever. So even though the machine was difficult and the stitching is all crooked and wavy and starts and stops at odd places it still took me a fraction of the time it would have by hand. And I got to use some random zipper I had that had the possibility of never being used for anything, as it was a very short length without the head thing that actually zips and unzips it. One of my favorite things in the world is finding productive ways to use junk!
So now I have to find those character shoes and call the museum to find out if they will let us shoot. And we will be good to go.
I had a blast staying home yesterday. I got so much done. Things that have been sitting around waiting for months to get accomplished are now ready to go. It's fantastic. I colored boots, cleaned my art room, built a frame for making paper, started and finished those gloves, emailed all Serenity's artists and customers, made calls, worked on my social networks, started my flower hair spiral project, Travis and I cleaned the bathroom and kitchen floors, sent out news about our weekend sale and posted ads. By the end of the day I felt so awesome about everything I had accomplished. I'm a happy girl.
That's awesome! You go girl! I miss you!!!
