Announcing the New Shop!

As the nesting urges start settling in we've been getting super excited about all the costumes and clothing and keepsakes that we want to make for our baby. I started with a few little things: the Star Wars onesies I made for Travis' first expectant Father's Day (if you got to see them), and I had already been making Steampunk baby/kiddo merch. So going full force with it all wasn't a huge leap. Fitting it all in with Live Steamy? Now that seemed tough to work out. So we've opened a new etsy shop just for our awesome, geeky baby stuff!

I'm so happy to announce:

Your new destination for adorable, hand made and personally designed baby and child clothing, costumes, keepsakes, gear and gifts, with all manner of geekiness to start your little one off right!!

Sugar Skull Obsession

I've been totally obsessed with Sugar Skulls lately. I had a total blast creating these guys. They are all up for sale on our esty and we are hoping to get them into some local shops as well.

This one is really unique and though it may seem a bit freakish it's meant to represent the balance of the beauty of life and the horror of death. Both are part of our world and the focus of the Day of the Dead celebration.

Please check them out and share them with your friends and social networks. And if you are attending any Day of the Dead festivities be sure to let others know about us!!

We love you Steamy fiends!!

MM My Favorite Non-Lullaby

Someone posted asking what songs you sing your baby/kids before bed because they were bored with their own repertoire.
This is one of my favorite nontraditional lullabies and I can't wait to sing it to my little guy.
